The Tear Away Technique

The Tear Away Technique is a method for creating shallow texture sheets from your own drawings or maybe royalty free clip art or images. This video tutorial shows the various steps to create your own unique textures and also explains how to overcome all the issues with this technique. These can be used with metal clay, polymer clay or in a rolling mill to texture sheet metal.

PMC Flex

PMC Flex launched on 22nd September 2014. Julia Rai produced two free videos to show the potential of this addition to the metal clay family. Video one is here and video two is here.

There are a number of beginner and intermediate or advanced metal clay classes available at CSACJ. Choose from the one day beginners metal clay class or a half day metal clay taster class. Both of these classes are taught by Julia at the CSACJ studio in St Austell, Cornwall. The intermediate metal clay course introduces a number of new techniques over two days. The advanced metal clay course is also two days and takes your skills to a whole new level.
